God opens doors in His time!

Have you ever been sitting at a roadblock for a while and then all of a sudden a door opens to a new opportunity and you jump. Then have to pinch yourself, because from the time the door opened and you jumped, it all happened so fast? Well, it happened to us and we still pinch ourselves sometime.  God surely works in wonderful ways, and its amazing!!
It all started with my Mom.  Before she applied to a job, she prayed about it 'is this the right one?' God's answer was "YES." The job, transporting train crew from place to place (conductors and others).  On one of these trips, Mom met a nice man, Dean a train conductor, and they got to talking (he loves to talk). The talking went to farming/ranching and us looking for a new job.  Mom got his number and that door was beginning to open a little wider.
Kevin played phone tag with him for a while.  They talked about what Kevin knows how to do, what he likes and about the family.  He told Kevin that he knew of a few people looking for a new employee. I dont remember if Kevin got the numbers or not.  One Sunday evening we got a phone call. Turns out Dean gave our number to his nephew, Nathan, who was also looking for a new employee.  Nathan and Kevin talked on the phone for a good hour if not more. I could hear Kevin laugh in the other room and thought 'thats a good sign, is this the one?' After Kevin got off the phone, he had this smile on his face and proceeded to tell me about the job. Not once did his look change from that smile. Kevin said, "I feel good about this job, more so then any other one I called on." The door was widening more.
We drove out to their place one Sunday and met Nathan and his family, mom and dad, and brother. Had lunch with them and got ready to head outside to see around the place.  Kevin and I talked briefly and he asked me what I thought, I told him this feels good.  When we headed home that night that feeling was stronger then ever. This was the job for us and we accepted. That door was wide open and ready for us to jump.  Boy did we jump.
We originally planned on moving up  to the new place by the 1st of February, but issues arose with the previous job and left much sooner.  We have now been here for almost two months and it has been great. Since we have been here we have learned that Dean gave our number to another farmer before remembering that his nephew was looking also. We never got the call from the other farmer.  Also that Nathan and his wife prayed for about two weeks about us before calling.  We had the job the first time Kevin and Nathan talked on the phone. God really does work in the most wonderful ways and it's AMAZING!! He lead Mom to a job that lead us to a job (about a month and a half).  This is a job that we have been wanting and waiting for!! Everything really work in HIS time!!
